There are about 50 small groups that meet regularly at Community UMC. Some of these groups meet in person, while others meet virtually or with a hybrid combination.  There are groups for all ages, including Bible study, Sunday School, music (vocal and instrumental), special interests, service and missions.

SEEKERS

Group seeks God's will for our lives through Bible study, related topical writings, lively but respectful discussion and Christian service.  We meet weekly for lessons and discussion, and occasionally for mission projects and social gatherings.  Room 205

A large group (45-50) of singles and married adults.  Several teachers share the lead for combination lecture and discussion, using the International Sunday School series.  Meets in the Chapel.

Group consists of 15-20 mostly over 50 singles, with some younger and married.  All are always welcomed.  Discussion based Bible study with some video based lessons.

Wesley Small Group 

Senior, mixed gender adults, but open to all.  Based on the Wesleyan Small Group model for growing in faith and accountability together.  This group studies historic Christian beliefs and Biblical principles.

Women's Faith Focus 

A vibrant, interactive group of women seeking to know God through scripture, lively discussion, prayer, fellowship and reviewing a variety of Biblically based and topical studies.  Most studies continue for 6-8 weeks and are facilitated by group members.  We also engage in mission projects quarterly and meet socially at least twice a year.

Grace Point

With alternating series, this multi-generational, Bible based discussion group works to understand who God is and how he wants Christians to live in the real world of today.  We will resume meeting in September, 2022.
