WHO IS ON THE LEADERSHIP TEAM?
The Leadership Team consists of nine church members who are selected to serve in three-year cycles on a rotating basis
Candidates are chosen by the Nominations Committee and interviewed by a panel consisting of current leaders, the pastor, and members of the Nominations Committee.
Leadership candidates demonstrate spiritual maturity, humility, an attitude of service, and a strong desire to seek and follow God's will through prayer, study of God's Word, and fellowship.
Leaders attend a regular monthly meeting (90 minutes maximum) and remain responsive to urgent church matters via text or email between meetings.
Discerning God's will and developing a vision for the present and future direction of Community United Methodist Church.
Establishing the policies and procedures through which the work of the church is accomplished.
Ensuring all church ministries align and work together toward our shared vision.
Representing required United Methodist Conference reporting committees, including:
