IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Effective at 5:00 pm, Saturday, January 9th, the church building will be closed until further notice. Church offices will be closed, worship and other services will return to virtual only, and small groups will not be permitted to meet on church property. We hope you will continue to join us on Facebook or Youtube for online Sunday services at 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

The Healthy Church Team came to this decision because of quickly rising Covid-19 positivity rates and instances of noncompliance to our social distancing protocols.

Several families in our church have been or are currently affected by COVID-19. Please keep these families in your prayers.

A MESSAGE FROM PASTOR JIM...

Every Wednesday at noon beginning February 24, I will be livestreaming on Facebook a brief devotional service (no more than 15 minutes) including a virtual Holy Communion. You are invited to share in this devotional moment. If you are planning on participating in Holy Communion, I invite you to have bread and cup with you as you watch. Please feel free to share the post on your social media page.

Likewise, on the first Sundays of the month, I will be including a virtual communion in the worship services and you can prepare your elements ahead of time.

Pastor Jim

THANK YOU FOR YOUR FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP

PLEDGE NOW FOR 2021!

THANK YOU to all the faithful stewards who have made it possible for the church to survive 2020 with strength. Your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness have allowed CUMC to weather one of the most difficult storms in modern church history well. We could not do it without you and without God’s ongoing providence. If you wish to make a pledge for the year ahead, click the button below. If this is not possible for you this year due to the economic or personal impact of the pandemic, we understand and please reach out if the church can help in any way.
