Ministry Highlight: Winter Shelter


Community United Methodist Church hosted the Winter Shelter program from February 18th to 25th. The PIN (People In Need) ministry set up sleeping areas in the church social hall and brought in unhoused guests at suppertime. Small groups prepared meals for supper and breakfast. Nightly entertainment activities were provided. The PIN ministry picked up guests for return to their various locations after a hearty breakfast meal.

Use the Church Calendar to Ensure Event Success

If you or your group are planning an event, an important first step will be to get your event on the church calendar. This will ensure that members can easily find the details of your event (time, place, purpose), and also ensure that the location in the church you are planning to use is available. Once your event is on the calendar, the location for your event is reserved for your use.
