Evangelism

And Jesus came and said to them..."Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28: 18-20

Community United Methodist Church seeks to be intentional about building relationships with unchurched persons as well as continuing to be an invitational and welcoming congregation. Our goal is to be the link to involve persons in a relationship with Jesus Christ and to include them into the family of God.

Discipleship

The Pastor and leadership of Community UMC continually encourage us to grow in our faith. Our walk with the Lord continues to deepen and we are encouraged to do this by actively participating in a small group, Bible study, at-home study, daily devotionals, prayer time, etc. John Wesley referred to this as partaking in God's "Sanctifying Grace."

Community offers a number of small groups, Sunday School classes, and special interest groups for spiritual growth. If you need to connect with a small group, contact the Associate Pastor.

The Upper Room is a daily devotional provided free of charge by the church. If you need a copy, they are available in the church office or at the welcome center.

Another way that our church seeks to to reach out to others is through our church website. Our goal is that this website will be an essential evangelism tool!
