United Methodist Men

Community’s Men’s Ministry is intended to meet the spiritual needs of all men at Community.  We accomplish this by supporting Community UMC’s vision to “Love God, Love People and Grow.” Our goal is to encourage men to have a deeper relationship with Christ through connection with each other and all church ministries. The ministry encourages men to participate in various mission and ministry opportunities through our church, district and conference. All men are encouraged to join us as we grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Men's Bible Study Meets Weekly

The Men’s Bible Study focuses on the prophets Amos, Obadiah, Micah, and Zephaniah. Each were called in their time to deal courageously and honestly with the sin around them. This study explores how their concern for people shaped their life-changing messages of repentance and redemption. We use Warren Wiersbe’s book “Be Concerned” in our study.

We meet on Zoom every Monday night at 7:00 PM except for the 4th Monday night of the month when we have our monthly UMM dinner meeting.

Monthly Dinner Meeting

The United Methodist Men's monthly dinner meeting is typically on the fourth Monday of each month in the social hall at 6:00 PM. Our chefs always prepare a delicious dinner followed by a ministry program. It's a great time of fellowship!

All men of the church are welcome. You can sign up sheet on the UMM bulletin board which is in the "crossroads" of the church or by clicking the button below. It helps to sign up so that our chefs know how much food to cook.

Our next dinner meeting is Monday, January 27, 2025.

We will be celebrating Scout 362 which meets at our church weekly!
